Posts: 404 Aug 9 09 11:07 AM	you can lightly sand them with a 400+ grit wet/dry sandpaper before clear coating them too... you can get thru some of the oxydized plastic for a fresh layer before clear coating and like Rob said, it will look like new. Posts: 13 Aug 10 09 4:21 PM	sorry forgot to mention......Lightly scuffing with fine steel wool (gets in all the nooks and cranny's) seems to work best for me. Rinse, let dry, and clearcoat. Good as new! Edited 3 times by rob59 Aug 10 09 4:50 PM.

Posts: 31 Jun 19 10 9:46 AM	Man, what a bummer. Maybe mine weren't that bad, cause they look worse now. I didn't use AUTO clear coat, but I did use 1000, then 2000 grit, then I scrubbed with baking soda ( read somewhere that this is like using 3000 grit sand paper.) They look ealy cloudy now. I'll scrub off the clear coat and try again.
