So the three possible locations to find a serial number on the 1946 Spartan Manor seem to be:

1. A metal tag rivetted to the hinge side of the front door frame.
2. Stamped in the frame on the cross member at the very rear of the trailer.
3. Written on the side of one of the drawers.

1. I can see where the tag used to be on the door frame, I looked everywhere to see if the PO relocted it; no luck.
2. I searched the frame from front to back a couple of times; no luck.
3. I looked on the drawers and found a number, "2828".  Do you think this might be the sequence number making the serial number "25-46-2828"?  I can't think of what else 2828 might be related to.

Hey Bob, I never put it there, but you are right, it does work for me!   It's varnished in so it can't be rubbed out.  A guy on the  Yahoo Spartan site had one with serial number 25-46-2515 so that's not too far off in production.

KevinReabe suggested checking on the underside of  the rear rubrail.  I misunderstood what he was referring to so I was looking on the underside of the trailer.  Then the light came on as to what the rub rail is, I ran outside and here is the real serial number for my 46 Spartan Manor.


The rub rail is the faring near the bottom.


And then just as KevinReabe suggested, here it is.

It feels like she has found her identity.  Like an adopted child finder her bio parents.

25-46-2844 is what she will be registered as.
