Not even sure of it's a Paulin/Humphrey, but it came with a clip-on burner nose and after seeing how much these mantles are, I decided to order a tie-on burner nose with new gaskets and a dozen mantles from gas-lights.com. After the burner nose arrived, it has different threads than my original. An email to gaslights was no help, but is there a tie-on nose available in these threads or am I stuck with a clip-on? Even if I needed a replacement clip-on nose, the threads will not be the same. Below is a pic of the light and the two noses. The right one is the original. You can see the thread difference. Worst case, I'll get a new gas lamp or just abandon this one, but I really want the vintage lamp to work. Any ideas? I even thought of having a machine shop bore it out and press an aluminum insert in with the correct threads.
